Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Edge Analytics collects very little, because it needs very little. There are no user accounts and no passwords. This page lists exactly what is collected, what is deliberately not collected, and how to get a copy of your data or have it deleted.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party marketing pixels and no data brokers involved in this site.

1. Who is responsible

This site is operated by [[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]] (ABN [[ABN]]) in [[STATE]], Australia. Privacy questions and requests go to [[CONTACT EMAIL]].

2. What we collect

WhatWhen, and why
Your email address Only if you type it into the notification form. We store the address, the time you submitted it, and a short label for which part of the site you submitted it from. That is the whole record. We use it to email you about the models and about launches — nothing else.
Membership status If you subscribe, we set a signed cookie on your device recording your plan, an expiry, and your Stripe subscription reference. It is what keeps you unlocked between visits.
Payment details Handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers and we cannot see them. Stripe collects the billing information it needs to take payment, under its own privacy policy.
Aggregate site analytics We use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-focused: it sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and reports only aggregate figures such as page views and referrers. It does not build a profile of you.

3. What we deliberately do not collect

The bets you log stay on your device

The "My bets" feature saves what you enter in your own browser's local storage. It is never transmitted to us and we never see it. It lives on that one device: another phone or computer will not have it, and clearing your browsing data deletes it permanently. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. What we do set:

NamePurpose
edge_access A signed cookie recording your membership plan and its expiry, so the site knows you are a member. Set only after you subscribe or redeem an access key. It is HTTP-only (JavaScript on the page cannot read it), restricted to this site, and expires after 30 days unless renewed.
Local storage Your display preferences (such as card or table layout) and, if you use it, your "My bets" log. Both stay in your browser and are never sent to us.

Clearing cookies and site data for edgeanalytics.au removes all of it. Doing so will log you out of a membership and erase any bets you logged.

5. Who else is involved

We share personal information only with the services needed to run the site:

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information and we do not disclose it for anyone else's marketing.

Overseas handling

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia. Using them means your information may be handled overseas, under their own privacy commitments. If that matters to you, the simplest protection is to use the free tier, which requires no email address and no payment at all.

6. How long we keep things

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

Email [[CONTACT EMAIL]] and we will action it within a reasonable time and at no cost. Given how little we hold, most of these requests are quick.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The membership cookie is signed, so it cannot be edited to grant access, and is HTTP-only. Payment data never touches our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but the most effective protection here is structural: we hold almost nothing worth stealing.

9. Children

The site is for people aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Where a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold, we will tell affected members by email.

11. Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at [[CONTACT EMAIL]] — we would rather fix it directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
